Learning Reiki with Chiyoko Yamaguchi (part 1)

When I first learned Jikiden Reiki in Kyoto, 2002, I learned alongside my good friend Ikuko Hirota. We worked together teaching English in a school in Ibaraki and had fast become friends. However, when I approached her one day to ask if she'd heard of Reiki she became worried I'd joined a cult! In the video below you can listen to the two of us discussing this, and what it was like knowing and learning with Chiyoko Yamaguchi. The interviewer, Innina Nakamura also teaches Jikiden Reiki and I'm grateful for her questions and the time and resilience it took her to persuade Ikuko to take part as she doesn't usually do interviews. I really enjoyed chatting with Ikuko about those times I remember so fondly.
